On Wednesday 28 January we loaded the 4th truck with relief supplies this year. The cargo is destined for Breaza, from there it goes to sub distribution points in the region. A group of people from Aalsmeer had organized a collection for Phoneo from Reghin, we also sent this pallet. Just like a batch of bread mix and some other stuff for Henk and Viorel from the village of Deaj. There were some pick-up jobs again, together with the goods that are delivered, we still have a large stock. Picking up eight hospital beds in Amsterdam did not go smoothly, we returned with four, which we still had a lot of work on. We are going to make new agreements with this supplier. Here is the link to photos. Monday January 24 the truck that we had loaded on January 19 was unloaded in Botosani. It was quite cold but it worked, Cristi wrote an explanation to the photos, worth reading. The hospital beds are stored in a warehouse belonging to a friend of Cristi's who is taking care of onward transport t

We have had a busy week. Collection of hospital beds and mattresses at a number of healthcare institutions in Amsterdam on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday was a big job. We are not done with it yet next Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday we have to pick up the hospital beds again. On Wednesday 19 January we loaded a truck for the 3rd time this year in Broek op Langedijk, this time with destination Botosani. Loading went smoothly with a small group of experienced volunteers. In addition to the two trips to pick up beds in Amsterdam, there were two more trips with a trailer, also to Amsterdam. A third team of collectors first went to load at two addresses in Egmond, after unloading this in Broek op Langdijk, this team went again to Schagen, Julianadorp and Den Helder. She came back with a truck full of useful stuff, it's getting late for them. Thanks to all these joint efforts, we again have a nice stock of relief supplies. On Wednesday I received many photos and messages about

Wednesday 12 January we loaded the 2nd trailer in 2022, this time with destination Ticau and Botosani. The flow of goods from Romania to the Netherlands has not really started yet, it takes quite a bit of effort to find a truck with trailer for a ride to Romania. This truck arrived later than intended and had already loaded part of the trailer for another destination, leaving 10 m3 less space for our cargo, less costs but not efficient. Loading went smoothly, at 14:00 driver Vlad left for Romania. Saturday morning January 15 was unloaded in Ticau and on Monday the rest will be unloaded in Botosani. The link to pictures of loading for Ticau. The link to pictures of loading for Botosani. On Wednesday there were also various collection jobs, for example a trailer full of building materials at BMN in Delft, there is again a lot of useful material in between. Tuesday 11 January the truck, which we had loaded on 6 January, was unloaded in Breaza. The rest of the week Csaba has been busy tak

Tuesday 4 January there was a collection job in Enschede and in Tiel, a nice load, a good start to the year. Because of the stock of nice stuff, we wanted to send a fully loaded truck to Romania in the 1st week of the new year. There was no truck available on Wednesday 5 January, but it finally worked on Thursday 6 January. The owner of a truck, which was waiting for cargo near Schiphol Airport, found out on Wednesday afternoon that a cargo was waiting for Romania in Broek op Langedijk. The Internet plays an important role in the supply and demand of freight for transport. The driver was happy to load with us, finally a ride home. On Wednesday there was enough to clean up and pick up so that we could use the time usefully. On Thursday, with a small group, the first truck in 2022 with destination Breaza was quickly loaded, it left just after twelve o'clock. On Monday, the truck will unload from Cluj Napoca in Breaza. Tuesday 25 December we were able to pick up a trailer full of stuff from HIRF from Weesp. On Wednesday December 29 some curtain fabrics from Wormerveer. Thursday was really the last job. A partner of ours has a temporary lack of space to store things, we were able to solve this. Helping and strengthening each other as part of a network is and remains important. There are still many photos and messages coming in from Romania about the Christmas activities there. Especially Cristi from Botosani has been busy, the distribution of the Christmas packages was just a bit more work than estimated. The intention was to combine the distribution of the packages from the Netherlands with the distribution of the shoe boxes with presents from Austria. However, these arrived relatively late, the weather did not cooperate, much snow and slippery conditions, handing out has become quite an adventure. Nevertheless, the people were very happy with it, as was Cristi that he and his team were able to do th
