This morning I started with a summary of the misery that Vladimir Putin has caused, I stopped it, it's just too much. It is better to focus on how we can help these people in need within the possibilities of the Promotion Foundation. Together with our people in Romania we do what we can. It's a bit of a repetition of what I wrote in previous episodes, but much of our help to Ukraine is through Cristi and his team from Botosani. If you read how many people are being helped with help. The people who come and take it to the refugee camps, among other things, also deserve our respect. Here is the link to photos. Attila from the farm in Marghita has again had a truck with 19 tons of potatoes and 4 tons of onions brought to St. HRIF's project in Hamelmeu near Satu Mare. The organization of these transports is a challenge for the people on site. Here is the link to photos. No update last week, now a summary of two weeks about what we have been doing in Broek op Langedijk and what happened to the relief goods we brought in Romania and the Ukraine. A truck was loaded in Broek op Langedijk on Wednesday 11 May and unloaded in Breaza on Friday 13 May. It went smoothly and the load was distributed among several local emergency workers in the wider area of Breaza. Imola has updated her blog, which gives a good impression. Elena, social worker from Urmenis, writes about the incredibly low income of many people. A benefit of € 30 per month and some child benefit, almost unimaginable. In addition, sometimes a little income as a day laborer, often in the form of food. A lot of people have to do it in 2022. fazakasimola-csaba.blogspot.com Here is the link to photos. On Tuesday 12 May, a truck with potatoes, carrots and onions arrived in Botosani from the farm in Marghita. It was almost immediately transferred to a whole series of vans from the Ukraine and Romania

The war violence in Ukraine has still not come to an end. It is hard to comprehend, what is happening there, it seems that for the dictator Vladimir Putin, human lives have no value. From the start of this dark period, we have been sending as much relief as we can to help its victims, especially food. With his depot, Cristi from Botosani is an important link in this form of aid. In recent days he himself has been to the Ukraine with an aid transport, he has taken pictures of it and written an explanation. A major problem is the scarcity of diesel oil. Due to all the destruction of depots and refineries there are shortages, from Romania tankers bring diesel oil into the country. Thanks to a gift from America, Cristi was able to buy food from a wholesaler in Botosani, at a purchase price. Here is the link to photos. Here is the link to photos of the purchased stock. Attila has shipped a truck with potatoes, carrots and onions to Halmeu, from where it will be taken to various places in th

In the past week, no truck was loaded in Broek op Langedijk. Our stock was replenished on Thursday with a nice batch of food and we received a promise from the Manna Foundation that we can pick up a batch of potatoes and onions. Next Wednesday we will load again, the truck goes to Breaza and first makes a stopover in Marghita. The terrible war in Ukraine is still in full swing and no one can predict when and how it will end. The number of victims runs into the thousands and millions of people have their lives turned upside down. Together with a number of our contacts in Romania, we are able to provide assistance on a large scale to the refugees from the Ukraine and the many thousands of displaced persons in the Ukraine. From the depot in Botosani, vans come and go to collect goods to bring them into the Ukraine. Cristi sent pictures of it again. It is impressive and the images are sometimes shocking. Here is the link to photos. Ronald Wolthuis of St. Phoneo has transported the batch of
