Monday 21 June the truck we arrived in Botosani that we have loading the previous Wednesday. Cristi sent pictures with explanations, also pictures of older people getting a pack of diapers, very useful and necessary, I was hesitant to post them, a bit embarrassing. Also photos of the new construction of Casa Ioana, the way of building deviates quite a bit from what is common here. It looks earthquake proof. Here is the link to the photos. On Tuesday 22 June, a small group started making preparations for loading a truck the next day. On Wednesday 23 June, loading the truck for Henk Muller's projects in Deaj and the surrounding area went smoothly and without any problems. Just like the collection jobs that had to be done, in Egmond, for example, clothes at the clothing bank and in a special place, namely the Abbey of Egmond a hospital bed. This is a beautiful destination for everyone to visit once. www.abdijvanegmond.nl The fully loaded truck left for Romania at 13:30 our, there was

Thanks in part to the Manna Foundation from Alkmaar ( www.stmannaschermer.nl ) and the HIRF Foundation from Weesp ( www.hrif.nl ), we were able to send a valuable aid transport to Romania again this week. It is worth clicking on the link to their websites and to get an impression of the great work they do. On Tuesday 15 June, a small group was busy collecting goods and dividing and packaging the (almost) last Frisian sheep cheese. On Wednesday 16 June a truck was loaded with destination Botosani, a fairly heavy load that will be unloaded there on Monday 22 June. There were also pick-up jobs at various addresses, for example at Noorderhaven in Julianadorp, at the clothing bank in Egmond, just like a beautiful high/low bed at a private person there. Despite the warm weather, a lot of work was done by the volunteers this time as well. Here is the link to photos. It is regularly bad weather. Cristi from Botosani has a lot of support from a team from Austria he sent a lot  pictures of their

On Wednesday 9 June, a trailer was loaded with destination Breaza, this time again everything went smoothly and the truck left after lunch. The truck was unloaded there on Saturday 12 June. Photos of loading and unloading. There were also a few pick-up jobs, including collecting beds at Noorderhaven in Julianadorp and clothing in Egmond. A team of seven people from Austria will come to Botosani on Monday to lend Cristi a hand, including with the new construction at Casa Ioana and the distribution of relief supplies. The basic construction of the last floor will be placed in the coming week. A setback is that, just like here, the prices of building materials are skyrocketing, so the completion of this beautiful project will probably take a little longer. That's another way to do it. Inci from Salard sent photos with an explanation of the project in Salard, nice to read. Domien is busy in Spain with harvest work to provide for the family income. Here the link Reghina from Ticau sent

Through an organization from our network, we were able to pick up a batch of food especially suitable for young children on Tuesday. Very useful for our projects in Romania. On Wednesday 2 June, another truck was loaded in Broek op Langedijk. This time with destination Marghita and Ticau, it went smoothly and well, after lunch the truck left for Romania. In Urk, at the secondhand store Waypoint, we were able to pick up a nice batch of furniture and other useful items. The net proceeds of this huge thrift store (1,200 m2) go to a foundation that offers professional help to people who have become addicted to drugs. Unfortunately a major problem in our beautiful country. The Red Cross hospital in Beverwijk was able to make a batch of medical aids available. Many hospitals and care institutions in Romania are struggling with shortages in all kinds of areas, these kinds of things are in great demand through our network there. Together with other pick-up jobs, there were again enough jobs fo
