On Tuesday, pictures from Marghita were taken in the container with bakery that we brought there. The first loaves of bread look good and people are enthusiastic. The intention is that poor people get good bread for free or at least cheaply. Together with Paul, we will work on the implementation of this and ensure that it will be a successful project. The basis is there. Here the link to photos Attila sent a few more pictures of the wheat, it looks completely yellow, if it starts to grow with warmer weather, this weather is expected. That the pandemic continues and that does not make life easier for a farmer. Like many others, I would like to see it again with my own eyes there. It is not easy to have patience, but there is little choice. Our foundation's first senior volunteer has received an invitation to get vaccinated. John Fracker sent a few photos via Imola, does not give a complete picture of the situation in people of the burned house. Here the link to photos. On Wednesday

Getting everything to go according to plan is not always easy. The objective was to load a trailer for Marghita including the container with a complete bakery. On Tuesday, reports came from Romania that this was not going to work because of the problems at the Czech / Germany border. Covid-19 measures. Tuesday afternoon, to our surprise, the trailer with destination Marghita was already at the door, so we could load it on Wednesday. He has now been unloaded in Marghita last Friday, loading and unloading went well. Next week they will try out the bakery, under normal circumstances assistance from the Netherlands would be present, unfortunately this is not possible now, fortunately they are quite resourceful on the spot. Nico Groot stumbled while loading, eventually found to be a broken wrist, four weeks of plaster. Haye does a lot of journeys for the Amsterdam food bank, he was also unlucky, he slipped with something securing and fell ugly. Painful but on Monday he will be driving again

What we do is great work and we make full use of the opportunities we get. In Romania, we support an extensive network of people who lend a helping hand to people in need at a local level. That this works well is especially valuable now. In the previous post, I showed pictures taken by Reghina from Ticau, this of an impossible situation in a village not far from Ticau. Together with the Emeth Foundation from Heiloo, we try to help here too. Plans are in the making, the objective is to at least ensure that the huts are water and windproof and that there is a floor instead of the current mud. A stove is also indispensable. We are certainly not going to postpone it. This is really not possible, we will also wake up the local authorities. The parents are illiterate, the children don't go to school just to add a few things. At the moment it is freezing heavily in Romania, in the Netherlands you come on TV when you go camping in the freezing cold for a night (!). I would rather pay more

Another week and two trucks with relief supplies sent to Romania. On Tuesday, a load of building materials was loaded in Delft, Rob and Hesva took care of the supervision. Another load of beautiful and useful things that Cristi will use during the construction of the new building in the yard of Casa Ioana. Wednesday we were able to load for Peris and Breaza, we have many years of contacts over there who do a lot and good work in their area. Some more pick-up jobs such as and addition to the store inventory for the second-hand clothing store for Toth Attila in Peris. Here the link to photos. On Friday we took part of our stock to the HriF foundation in Weesp. An aid transport will soon be sent to refugee camps on Lesbos, organized by the Cristian Refugeer Relief foundation from Nieuw Lekkerland. The HRIF Foundation from Weesp has been supporting this organization for many years, they do good and useful work for our fellow people there. The messing about with refugees on Lesbos causes a
