And again a week full of events is behind us. Tuesday we immediately had a pick-up job in Alkmaar that we were busy with. It was unclear if a trailer would come to load Wednesday. However, Tuesday afternoon he was already at the door. Wednesday we were able to load this truck with destination Marghita and Floresti. Loading went smoothly, the two pick-up teams also arrived on time. Here is the link to photos. Friday was unloaded in Marghita, the packages for Getz and Salard are unloaded. It all went smoothly and without any problems, we loaded the packages for Pieter Nagel from Minis, the same for Reghina from Ticau and those for Cristi in Botosani. We were able to pick up stuff before loading on Wednesday 16 November, there were four pick-up teams active with larger and smaller jobs. The loading of the first truck with Christmas packages started after lunch. Everything went well, it turned out to be a very nice load with 1.160 packages and some other stuff. The truck will arrive in Breaza on Monday 21 November. Here is the link to pictures of the loading. We can safely say that we have had a very busy week full of special events. Tuesday 8 November we started cleaning up and preparing stuff for the truck that we would unload and load that day, expected arrival time 11 am. Furthermore, preparing and setting up the goods and setting up the roller conveyor for packing the packages. Unfortunately, the truck didn't arrive until 3:30 pm, we immediately started unloading the stuff for the Christmas packages. Beautiful products well fitting in a package. We then started loading with a small team, quite a big job and we had to work overtime to get it ready. The past week was dominated by the preparations to make the 4,500 Christmas packages on November 10 and 11. A large part of the food that goes in the packages comes from Romania, the price difference with the Netherlands made this attractive. The second half of this purchase is now on its way to Broek op Langedijk and will arrive just in time. So outside the normal routine and that gives some extra tension about how this turns out. Together with the current stock it will be a nice package. The boxes must be full, so if it looks like there is still a hole left. There may be some extras coming in, we'll have to wait and see.
