Weekly update 46/22

We were able to pick up stuff before loading on Wednesday 16 November, there were four pick-up teams active with larger and smaller jobs. The loading of the first truck with Christmas packages started after lunch. Everything went well, it turned out to be a very nice load with 1.160 packages and some other stuff. The truck will arrive in Breaza on Monday 21 November.

Cristi many photos of the delivery and distribution of the potatoes and vegetables from the farm in Marghita (see the previous weekly report). There are also photos of a house burned in a village near Botosani. There lived a family with five children.

The situation in Ukraine is imaginably difficult for millions of people. The unscrupulous from Moscow leaves important energy infrastructure millions of people stuck in the dark and the cold.

We try to try as much food and clothing as possible through Cristi's depot in Ukraine. Attila from the farm in Marghita and Cristi go out of their way to make this a success. We are almost the main supplier for a soup kitchen in Chernivtsi where more than 2,000 people have become dependent every day. Quite a responsibility, especially now that winter has arrived.

Reghina from Ticau has been busy refurbishing houses that we were able to build last year. Food has also been brought, it is no news that this is very important. Next Wednesday we will have the packages loaded for Ticau and they will also receive 1.700 kilos of potatoes from the farm.

In Breaza they have been busy emptying the storage. Vegetables and potatoes and flour from the farm have also been brought there. A local company from Breaza had an empty truck in Oradea and delivered this consignment free of charge from the farm in Marghita to the depot of Csaba and Imola. The distribution started immediately.

In weekly report 38 I shared a photo album of a family that had come to live in a dilapidated house near Urmenis. Elena the social worker there has decided the fate of these people.

An important point was helping make the house habitable, luckily we were able to help here too thanks to sponsors. A super building team like the one who owns the shepherd's house and his family are now getting to work. It will be ready next week. The coordination is in safe hands, namely from Csaba Fazakas.

The work of Viorel and Elena from Deaj grows in importance as the temperature
drops. Providing meals and baking bread is now extremely important. The flour from the farm brought Csaba immediately. We bear part of the energy costs. Viorel produces 900/1000 from 500 kg of flour, which costs € 250 in energy.
