Foundation Promotie / Aid Transports to Romania

Last Wednesday, October 7, we loaded a trailer; it is going directly to Viorel and Elena in Deaj. Fortunately, we had a good stock available, allowing us to put together a valuable load with many usable goods. As most of us know, and as has often been described in this blog, Viorel and Elena care for the poorest of the poor in their community, people who often live under particularly difficult circumstances. It was a time-consuming job, but we managed it again. The collection tasks also went well. In between, we were able to focus on the contents of the 5,700 Christmas packages. It promises to be a beautiful package once again. It is good that we can count on loyal sponsors and volunteers! After the work was finished, there was still time for a pleasant get-together. Miercuri, 30 septembrie, am încărcat un alt camion, de data aceasta cu două destinații: Marghita și Breaza. Stocul era suficient de bunuri bune, utilizabile, iar încărcarea a decurs fără probleme. Și ridicările au mers bine, așa că putem privi în urmă la această rundă de încărcare cu o stare de bine. Am reușit deja să adunăm un stoc bun, dar mai este nevoie de mai mult pentru a completa toate pachetele. Scopul este de a pregăti din nou 5.700 de pachete de Crăciun pentru persoanele care au nevoie disperată de ajutorul nostru.  On Wednesday, September 30, we loaded another truck, this time with two destinations: Marghita and Breaza. There was sufficient stock of good, usable items, and loading went smoothly. The pick-up jobs also went well, so we can look back on this loading round with a good feeling. Here is the link to a photo album On November 19 and 20, we will be packing Christmas hampers again. We have already managed to gather a nice stock, but more is still needed to make all the packages complete. Lidl Heerhugowaard will once again supply the products that we are able to purchase thanks to our sponsors. The goal is to once again put together 5,700 Christmas packages for people who desperately need our help. People who are willing and able to help with the packing are very welcome.   Aseară m-am întors acasă dintr-o excursie specială cu motocicleta prin România și o parte din Europa Centrală. Am făcut această călătorie împreună cu Csaba și Imola. Cel mai îndepărtat punct al călătoriei noastre a fost Oświęcim, în sudul Poloniei, unde se află impresionantul fost lagăr de concentrare și exterminare Auschwitz. Două milioane de oameni vizitează acest loc anual. Când am fost noi acolo, era atât de aglomerat încât nu am reușit să obținem un bilet de intrare. Imola încercase deja acest lucru online în zilele precedente. Așa că am putut vedea totul doar din exterior.   Last night I returned home from a special motorcycle trip through Romania and part of Central Europe. I made this trip together with Csaba and Imola. The furthest point of our trip was Oświęcim in southern Poland, home to the impressive former concentration and extermination camp Auschwitz. Two million people visit this site annually. When we were there, it was so crowded that we were unable to secure an entrance ticket. Imola had already tried this online in the preceding days. So, we could only see it from the outside. We were particularly successful at the labor camp three kilometers from the extermination camp.  These were the destinations; if you tap on the place name, you will see where it is on Google Maps.   Miercuri am reușit să încărcăm o remorcă cu destinația Marghita.   Când am terminat, depozitul era destul de gol. Din diverse circumstanțe, aprovizionarea cu stocuri noi stagnează puțin. Este ceva în pregătire, dar trebuie doar să așteptăm și să vedem cum evoluează lucrurile. Se întâmplă adesea lucruri neașteptate care schimbă totul. Ne putem considera norocoși că încă avem un grup numeros de voluntari entuziaști. Încărcarea a decurs fără probleme, la fel și lucrările de ridicare. Câteva fotografii de la încărcare Attila de la ferma din Marghita a distribuit fotografii cu legumele distribuite acolo. Unele dintre ele sunt conservate pentru iarnă, de data aceasta la un   cămin de copii din Galoșpetreu   . Ar fi minunat dacă mai mulți oameni ar fi suficient de sensibili să le folosească.  Remorca pe care am încărcat-o săptămâna trecută a fost descărcată joia trecută, mai întâi în Marghita și apoi în Breaza.   On Wednesday, we were able to load a trailer destined for Marghita.   When we were finished, the warehouse was quite empty. Due to various circumstances, the supply of new stock is stalling a bit. There is something in the pipeline, but we just have to wait and see how things develop. Unexpected things often happen that change everything. We can count ourselves fortunate that we still have a large group of enthusiastic volunteers. Loading went smoothly, as did the pick-up jobs. A few photos of the loading Attila from the farm in Marghita shared photos of the vegetables distributed there. Some of them are being preserved for the winter, this time at a   children's home in Galoșpetreu   .
