Weekly report 43/26 Engels

The aid shipments just keep coming; last Wednesday, October 21, we were already able to load the 40th trailer of 2026. The demand from our contacts is only increasing, and I hear nothing else from other foundations either. 

Loading went smoothly, and we were able to put together a nice, varied load that could depart shortly after lunch for the train journey from Venlo to Oradea. The final destination is Breaza.

On Wednesday, October 21, the trailer we had loaded the previous week arrived in Breaza. It was a busy week in Breaza because this was not the only transport arriving. Unexpectedly, a trailer full of potatoes and vegetables also arrived from the farm in Marghita.

Jorg Breddermann was supposed to come and load this beautiful consignment of potatoes, cabbage, and onions for his projects in Ukraine. Unfortunately, however, he had to cancel due to the days-long waiting times at the border and difficult additional formalities there. Consequently, it was decided that this consignment will be distributed from the depot in Breaza.

I inquired with Viorel from Deaj about the canned potatoes and vegetables that
were delivered to him and their purpose. This communication must be in Romanian; fortunately, the translations via the various translation apps are quite reliable. See the photo album below for the outcome.

Marin and Enico have cooked for the children again. The canteen has been renovated, the cottage for the mother with five children who has been left alone is ready. There is

someone also passed away.
