Weekly Update 30/26 Engels

Last Wednesday, we received help from four enthusiastic ladies in sorting and organizing the incoming goods. It was a substantial task, but many hands make light work. As a result, we were able to complete everything in a single day, so the work did not have to stretch over several weeks. A considerable amount of waste also needed to be disposed of, and various collection jobs were on the schedule. That all went smoothly as well. In short, it was a particularly productive and well-spent day.

Marin and Enico from Band have once again prepared a hot meal for the children. Meanwhile, the construction of the new house for the mother and her six children is also increasingly taking shape.

Joszi from Târgu Mureș has good news. The residents of the container home I wrote about last time have received their identity documents back. An arrangement has been made with the person who previously provided them with a loan. As a result, the child benefit will be paid directly to the family again from now on.

The prosthesis for the disabled man is now ready. Unfortunately, it still causes  a lot of pain, but hopefully that will decrease over time.

The police visited a family living in dilapidated accommodation under very impoverished conditions. They will have to leave their hovel. How this will proceed is not yet clear at this moment.

Reghina from Țicâu organized a wonderful summer program for the children and was also busy distributing relief supplies again.

Viorel and Elena have also put in a lot of work recently. The photo album below gives a nice impression of their dedication and the activities they have carried out.
