Weekly update 25/26 Engels

On Wednesday, June 17, we were able to load another trailer with valuable goods. A lot of restacking was required, and various collection jobs also had to be carried out, but everything went smoothly again. After a delicious lunch provided by Hesva, we were able to complete the loading. The driver then set off for Venlo. From there, the trailer will continue by train to Romania, after which the final leg will be covered by road to Breaza.

Despite the holiday period, fortunately there were enough people available to get this done together.

The trailer we had loaded the week before also arrived in Marghita on Wednesday, May 17. It was unloaded there; the barn was empty, so it worked out well.

Jorg Breddermann has once again been able to load potatoes and vegetables at the farm for the people in Ukraine whom he has been supporting for years.

Below are some additional messages from Joszi from Tirgu Mureș.

Claudia, who initially lived with her three children under a makeshift shelter in the Valea Rece neighborhood of Tirgu Mureș, is doing well. She and her children are very happy and grateful that they now have a real roof over their heads.

Thanks to loyal sponsors, it was possible to place a similar container for 16-year-old Maria, her boyfriend Gyula (19 years old), and the father of their one-year-old daughter Maria. This will be placed next to Claudia's. Additional information can be found in the previously sent album. Everything you read about poverty, homelessness, and addiction starts with this foundation: first housing, then recovery . The subsequent process is not easy, but just like with everything – start at the beginning.

Things are going well in Breaza. They are busy distributing the goods and dealing with the many requests for help, advice, and counsel that are coming in.

Marin from Band would like to build small houses for a number of families in need. We are going to investigate the possibilities for this.

The care for Sara and her cats could certainly use an extra boost. She has been hospitalized and requires additional care. The luxury of a care center as we know it is not a feasible option for her. Together with Marin and his supporters, we are looking into what is possible. We need to step it up a notch.

Cooking meals continues every week – it is wonderful that this is possible.

Viorel and Elena continue their good work every week. There is more than enough to do; the standard of living is so low that any form of help is more than welcome. It is not an easy task. The dedication of these two people commands respect.
