Weekly update 4/26 Engels

Fortunately, offers are still coming in from all kinds of people, companies, and organizations. This keeps our supply of relief supplies up and allows us to continue sending aid shipments.

On Wednesday, January 28th, we were able to load two trailers. The first arrived on time and was destined for Breaza. We were able to put together a nice load, including four cubic meters of carrots.

Van den Heerik Transport had picked up a load in Rotterdam that we were able to unload the same day. Hans and Clement had a good round of collections, visiting Bergen, Schagen, and Den Helder.

The second trailer arrived later than planned. The load was well-prepared, so it didn't end up being too late. This trailer is going to Marghita, where it will find its way from the depot on the farm to poor people in the area. Attila told us that another factory was closing; they were making car parts for various brands. So, many people are unemployed again.

In Breaza, they're busy distributing goods from the Netherlands. Demand is so high that the warehouse there is quickly emptying. Wood briquettes also arrived from Reghin and potatoes from a local grower. All in all, a nice mix of very usable goods, especially for this time of year.

Viorel and Elena from Deaj have done a tremendous amount of work. A small
expansion of their "work area" has resulted in even more need for help.

Joszi and his team are doing fantastic work in a vast neighborhood riddled with abuse, poverty, and deprivation in Tirgu Mures. The images speak volumes.

Daniel from Corpinis sent a series of photos of the reception and distribution of goods from Broek op Langedijk and from the depot in Breaza. He's a skilled accordionist and speaks fluent Dutch.
