Weekly update 23/25 Engels



The motorcycle ride is over again, we enjoyed it, beautiful rides in a very beautiful environment. The weather was a bit changeable but otherwise it was completely fine. Jan Valk had arranged it excellently again. For those interested, a few photos below.

On Monday 2 June we loaded the trailer that was supposed to arrive the week before. This time it arrived on time and again a lot of potatoes and other stuff went with it. Shortly after lunch it was able to leave.

On Tuesday Siem did another pick-up job. On Wednesday the activities were on the back burner.


As usual (fortunately) a lot of photos came in from our contacts in Romania. I have placed them in different albums and I share them on this blog. I will not comment this time, the images speak for themselves.

Lucrurile au mers puțin diferit față de planul de săptămâna trecută. Remorca pe care trebuia să o încărcăm miercuri nu a ajuns. Înainte de a merge la Broek op Langedijk pentru încărcare, a trebuit mai întâi să fie descărcată la Ikea din Amersfoort. Acolo au descoperit că exista o gaură în acoperiș, care a provocat daune provocate de apă încărcăturii. Manipularea a durat atât de mult încât încărcarea în Broek op Langedijk nu a mai fost posibilă. Weekly update 28/25 Engels

A short update on our blog this time, let's call it a summer edition. On Wednesday, July 9th, we were able to start loading a trailer right on time, going to two addresses: Margitha and Breaza. It turned out to be a nice, varied load, and our storage was starting to empty. However, this didn't last long; new stock arrived from three different locations. So we can continue sending relief shipments for a while longer. Here's the link to a photo album. On Friday, July 11th, the trailer we had loaded in Broek op Langedijk on July 2nd was unloaded in Breaza. Here's the link to photos of previous shipments. Csaba shared some new photos in an album about the bread program. Besides Viorel, several people are receiving flour made from wheat harvested on the farm in Margitha. In Breaza and Deda, local bakers are making bread from it, which is then distributed to people in need. It's a wonderful system that works well and is very useful. Weekly update 7/25 Roemeens

Multă muncă a fost făcută din nou de către voluntarii noștri. Aproape în fiecare zi era o mare muncă de colectare. Vineri, Wim Bos de la Weesp a intervenit pentru a ajuta cu asta. Rezultatul este impresionant, stocul nostru este bine întreținut și putem aduna 5.700 de pachete frumoase pe 13 și 14 martie. Miercuri, grupul a fost puțin mai mic decât în ​​mod normal din cauza gripei și a altor afecțiuni. Haye a venit să aducă un răsfăț cu privire la ziua lui și apoi s-a dus acasă la oaspeții săi.
