Weekly update 20/25 Engels
Also last week, a huge amount of relief supplies, including a lot of food, was sent to Romania. As far as supply is concerned, we have the wind in our sails and there are enough "clients".
On Tuesday 13 September, Nico and I first loaded almost 18 tons of first-class seed potatoes at Gebr. Beetsma in Wieringermeer.
Then we picked up another batch of consumption potatoes at St. Manna. After unloading this trailer, a batch of cookies was ready for us at Aviateur, specially selected for Eastern Europe.
On Wednesday 14 May, we were able to start loading the first truck right away. This one came completely full again and was able to leave for Marghita before noon. Again by train from Venlo to Oradea.
The second trailer with destination Breaza arrived at 14:00 for loading. The driver spoke good English and showed a lot of interest in what we do. He turned out to be a motorcyclist, so there was plenty to talk about.
All in all, including the pick-up jobs, it was a tough but fruitful day.

In Breaza, the truck that we had loaded on May 8th came to unload on Monday May 14th. As always, the weather was more than welcome and Csaba immediately took over the distribution.

Reghina from Ticau sent a few more photos of her activities.

Viorel and Elena from Deaj have also done a lot of work. You can see from the photos
that the weather in Romania is not nice. For the time of year it is too cold and too wet. If you do not have a decent house for your family, that is extra hard.

Joszi and his team from Tirgu Mures are doing what they can, their priority is food, clothing and education for children. This time he also sent a video of what part of this district looks like.

Next Wednesday we will load a trailer for Jan Pilkes from St. Charitas from de Rijp. It will go to a support point of St. Charitas in Ukraine in the town of Chemerivtsi.

Help is badly needed there due to the delusions of the unscrupulous criminal Putin. Through the cooperation with Manna and St. Charitas we can also contribute something to this.
