Weekly update 12/25 Engels.
We have had a busy week. A week in which we have achieved a great performance together. The making of the packages is not finished yet, they also have to be transported to Romania. Once in one of the depots, our contacts in Romania are responsible for ensuring that they reach the right people. That is quite a job for them, fortunately they like doing it.
On Wednesday 19 March we were able to load two trailers, the first arrived at 10:30. The first packages for Cristi in Botosani went into the trailer, then it was Reghina from Ticau's turn. The first unloading address for this trailer is Marghita and that is where the last packages went.
The second trailer arrived at 12:00, this was filled with packages for Breaza and some mattresses etc. There were two collection teams active, the second team still had an afternoon trip and they were back at the base at 17:00. On Thursday Gerard-Jan was able to pick up some in Amsterdam. It's great that we can and may do all this.
Reghina from Ticau has been distributing again and has set up activities with the youth.
Henk Muller has not been sitting still and is happy that we are helping him with relief supplies, so that he has something to share. Transporting these goods costs him and his foundation quite a bit, especially now that he had a breakdown with one of the buses.
Fortunately, we can provide him with seed potatoes. On Tuesday we will collect 5 thousand kilos, which will be transported immediately on Wednesday. Not only for Henk but also for others in the vicinity of the depot in Breaza.
Marin and Eniko from Band have cooked and distributed again.
On Thursday 20 March, the trailer with packages that we loaded on 13 March arrived in Marghtia. The distribution will start soon.

In Breaza, the program for the elderly is running at full speed, these are mainly women. Men are still absent. The project is an enrichment for the village, there is so much interest that Imola has decided to start a second group.

The distribution of the goods we brought continues.

Jozsi from Tirgu Mures sent his weekly photo series again. The old man with an amputated foot will get a container home to replace his rickety hut. A big step forward, the solution to his other problems is being worked on.
Next Wednesday, March 26, we will load two more trailers. All packages will then be in or on their way to Romania. There are still several pick-up pillows. The items that are at the Spanjaardsdam must also be returned.
We have reconsidered our participation in the PLMA action on May 21. It was not an easy decision, but the outcome was that we will not do this again. The people who were planning to come and help can therefore clear their agendas for May 21.
