Weekly up date 37,38/24 Engels

The 3.000-kilometer long motorbike ride was, in a word, fantastic. Especially Montenegro was a surprise for us, a very beautiful country to visit, certainly by motorbike. We had no significant problems and enjoyed the ride. Most of us are back home, I myself will fly home on Tuesday, I will stay a few more days in Breaza. Jan Valk will do the entire trip by motorbike and expects to be back home on Wednesday.

During the ride I received many photos, the photo albums I made of them turned out reasonably well. Except for adding the texts I received, fortunately the photos speak for themselves. When I get back home it will be a bit easier, so next time I will be a bit more extensive.

Henk Muller

Henk is busy with all sorts of things, distributing food, evangelism, building houses and now also bringing goods to an area where a river burst its banks last week. People have lost all their possessions there.

The supplies in Broek op Langdijk are reasonably up to standard, food could be better. Next Wednesday, September 25, we will load another trailer with destination Breaza. From all the stories that we "pick up" here it is clear that our help is still important.


Saturday September 28th is the indoor BBQ, great that there is so much interest.

Weekly update 7/24

Last week we shipped a trailer that will cover part of the route to Breaza by train. This concerns the stretch from Cologne to Arad, the trailer went on the train in Cologne and in Arad another tractor picks it up again for the last stretch to Breaza. We want to gain experience with this and thus avoid the crowds and controls at the Hungary/Romania border. On Wednesday, February 14, the loading of this trailer went well, there was quite a bit of repacking work and we were able to load a beautifully varied trailer with relief goods. The driver had to wait a little longer for his papers, Mission & Relief from Zevenhuizen produced additional documents. At 1:30 PM the driver headed to the terminal in Cologne. I don't know (yet) where the trailer is, we'll hear more about this early next week. Here is the link to photos. Weekly update 14/24

Another great week behind us with a lot of work done. On Wednesday, April 3, there were collection and clean-up jobs and stock from our temporary storage was brought back to the Dulleweg. On Thursday, April 4, there was a clothing campaign in a store in Heerhugowaard. And on Friday April 6, two trucks came to load. As a result, all the last 2.600 Easter packages are now on their way to Romania. A few photos of the loading. Csaba from Breaza has been busy delivering the first shipment of packages. The Phoneo Foundation from Reghin allows him to use a very handy van for this purpose. Many packages have already been delivered to people's homes. The rumors are spreading fast and he has already received questions: when are you coming to us? Weekly update 8/23

On Tuesday, February 21, we were able to collect more than 3.000 kg of seed potatoes from farmers in the Wieringermeer, a nice gesture from these kind people. Henk Muller from Band can enjoy his garden projects again. There is also plenty for the gardens in and around Breaza. On Wednesday we were able to load them immediately, together with hospital beds, apples, some cake and other food. Another nice load that arrived in Breaza on Friday evening and was unloaded on Saturday morning. Wednesday was busy with repacking work and loading and collecting, it all ended up on its feet again.
