Foundation Promotie / Aid Transports to Romania

Deci aceasta este ultima actualizare a blogului nostru în 2024. Nu va fi o poveste lungă, dar s-au întâmplat multe. Luni, 23 decembrie, au fost livrate paturile de spital pe care Sf. Caritas din De Rijp ni le ridicase la Zeist, a fost o treabă destul de mare pentru ei. Destinația acestor paturi frumoase va fi Breaza, Imola are foarte multă cerere pentru ele. Wim Bos de la Weesp a adus căni de băut, care pot fi incluse în pachetele de Paște. De asemenea, o serie de paleți de la vecinii săi, familia Veenstra a HIRF, în total aproape o remorcă plină. Wim a primit din nou ceva pentru proiectele sale, a fost o oportunitate grozavă de a ajunge din urmă. Haye a adus și ceva. Siem și Nico au avut o slujbă de colectare marți, aproape o remorcă plină, aceasta este acum la Strijbis. Am făcut și o treabă de ridicare împreună cu Haye. This is the last update of our blog in 2024. It won't be a long story, but quite a lot has happened. On Monday 23 December, the hospital beds that St. Caritas from De Rijp had picked up for us in Zeist were brought, it was quite a job for them. The destination of these beautiful beds will be Breaza, Imola has a lot of demand for them. Wim Bos from Weesp came to bring drinking cups, these can be put in the Easter packages. Also a number of pallets from his neighbours, the Veenstra family from HIRF, almost a trailer full in total. Wim got some more for his projects, it was a nice opportunity to catch up. Haye also came to bring some. Siem and Nico had a pick-up job on Tuesday, almost a trailer full, this is now at Strijbis. Anul este aproape de sfârșit, în lumea din jurul nostru s-au întâmplat multe lucruri pe care cel puțin eu nu credeam că sunt posibile. Nu am de gând să detaliez acest lucru, deja domină știrile mai mult decât suficient. Este mai bine să ne concentrăm asupra lucrurilor pentru care putem face ceva. Voluntarii Fundației de Promovare au valorificat bine oportunitățile care ni s-au oferit. Acest lucru a ajutat o mulțime de oameni, ceva la care privim înapoi cu recunoștință. Încărcarea a mers bine miercuri, 18 decembrie, o treabă destul de mare, dar cu eforturi unite am reușit. Un alt camion cu provizii utile de ajutor este în drum spre Breaza. The year is almost over, in the world around us many things have happened that I at least did not think were possible. I will not elaborate on this, it dominates the news more than enough. It is better to concentrate on the things that we can do something about. The volunteers of Stichting Promotie have made good use of the opportunities that were offered to us. Many people have been helped with this, something that we look back on with gratitude. On Wednesday 18 December the loading went well, a nice job but with combined forces this was successful. Another truck with very usable relief supplies is on its way to Breaza. When it will be unloaded there is still a (?) due to the holidays. Here is the link to photos. În cele din urmă, România s-a alăturat grupului de țări Schengen. Controalele la frontieră sunt de domeniul trecutului, un progres semnificativ, mai ales pentru traficul de marfă. Lista de lucruri de făcut a fost din nou dură miercuri, dar putem spune că a ieșit bine. Majoritatea dintre noi am terminat la timp. Am reușit să punem cap la cap un transport foarte frumos și util cu destinația Marghita. Attila ne-a spus deja care este intenția lui cu el. Finally, the time has come: Romania has joined the Schengen group. Border controls are a thing of the past, a major improvement, especially for freight traffic. The To-Do list was tough again on Wednesday, but we can say that it worked out well. Most of us were ready on time. We were able to put together a very nice and useful load with destination Marghita. Attila already explained what he wants to do with it. The bottom line is that it will end up in the right place via the new contacts. A good development. Here is the link to photos. It is December and that means end-of-year rush for the volunteers of our foundation. The past week has been busy processing the incoming and outgoing goods. Very nice, this makes it possible to help more people who need it. This automatically also means extra busyness for our contacts. Attila and his team are also dealing with this on the farm. We have brought more parcels, cookies and food there than usual. To ensure that these reach the right people, Attila has hired a social worker. Thanks to her knowledge of the local situation, these extra parcels reach poor people who live in remote areas and never receive anything. Parcels are also made from the cookies and other items and more poor people than ever before receive something extra. Below is a photo album of the parcels in Getz.
