Weekly update 32/26 Engles

The past week unfolded somewhat in a holiday atmosphere. There weren't many pickups, and on Wednesday, August 5th, it was all over in half a day. There was time for coffee and we could catch up briefly. Excess items were disposed of and goods were set aside to be used in the Christmas packages. The pickup run also went smoothly; I was the driver myself again for a change.

In Breaza, the trailer we
had loaded the previous week was unloaded on Thursday, August 6. Unfortunately, it is very hot in Romania and the natural environment is far too dry, with all the consequences that entails.

Marin and Enico from Band have cooked for a large group of children again and shared the supplies that arrived there from Breaza. This, along with food items they bought at the shop for these people. The construction of the small house for the mother with six children is almost finished.

Reghina from Ticau has once again been very active, just like in previous weeks, looking out for the people in her surroundings.

Toth Attila from Peris also sent another readable report of his activities.

Viorel and Elena from Deaj have done meaningful work again; the photos speak for themselves. The renovation of the community center at Haranglab is increasingly taking shape.

Joszi and his team from Târgu Mureș have once again done beautiful and valuable work this time.

A new identity card is ready for the man with the prosthesis. I hope that this will also get the payment of his disability pension back on track.

There is a lot to do this coming week. Wednesday is going to be a busy day with loading a trailer and goods being picked up and delivered. Besides Wednesday, there are also pick-up jobs on other days.

There will be no update next week; I will be going hiking in England for a week with our youngest son Huibert, specifically in the Cotswolds.
