Weekly update 42/25 Engels

With a small team, we returned our warehouse to its normal setup on Monday afternoon and Tuesday. We can look back on a successful BBQ with satisfied guests.

On Tuesday, another new supply arrived. For the next day's shipment, we received, for example, potatoes and onions from St. Manna.

Meanwhile, the photos from our people in Romania are pouring in. Summer is over there too, and these photos increasingly reflect the harsh reality of life for large groups of people. It's good that we continue to support these people.

On Wednesday, October 22nd, at 9:30 a.m., a trailer arrived to load for Botosani and Marghita. We managed to put together a nice load. The truck didn't go by rail, but by road to Botosani. The pickups were completed quickly; it wasn't a long day.

On Thursday, we had another pickup, which also went well.

On Wednesday, October 22nd, the truck we had loaded a week earlier was unloaded in Breaza. As usual, the products were in great demand.

Imola has posted a new message on her blog. Requests for help are coming in from Breaza. Here's the link to this blog: fazakasimola-csaba.blogspot.

Viorel and Elena from Deaj have been busy; the housing for the people they care for leaves much to be desired. Small steps are being made, but there's still much to be done. For the winter, Viorel bought shoes and clothes for the children at the market in Tirgu Mures. Walking barefoot at this time of year is simply not possible.

He also sent a request to help someone who is building a house for their family and children. He also sent a request to a woman with a sick daughter who is living in very poor housing.

Henk Muller has been distributing again and "hosted" a children's program.

Attila from the farm sent photos of the truck's arrival on Friday, October 24th. It was loaded on Wednesday, October 22nd. Vegetables were added, and then it could continue to Botosani. It will arrive there on Monday.

Attila has been sharing potatoes with poor residents in surrounding villages. There are plenty of people in that area who are struggling and could use some support.

Marin and Eniko from Band have completed their weekly program. Life there isn't easy for many people. Sarah, whose sister recently passed away, is struggling. She still has six cats around for company, but she is weak and misses her sister. Csaba from Breaza visited her and brought warm clothing, food, and food for the cats. She is receiving some help from people in her community. If she can't make it to Marin and Eniko's "dining room" herself, they bring her a meal plus extras.

Reghina from Ticau was able to distribute beautiful packages to those in need.

Toth Attila from Peris doesn't always choose the easiest path either. He continues to dedicate himself to the people in his community and beyond. He sent numerous photos, writing about how important the goods we bring are there too. These reach him via the distribution center in Breaza.

Joszi and his team in Tirgu Mures do their best every week to run their program. Our support is indispensable. Words aren't always necessary; the photos speak for themselves.

Next Wednesday, we'll be loading a trailer for Breaza. Ordering the Christmas packages seems to be going well. There are still a few uncertainties, but I'm confident a solution will be found. Packing days are November 20th and 21st; please come help.
