Weekly update 24,25/24 Engels

It is not easy to summarize all the two-week activities of St. Promotion briefly and concisely. Still, I'll give it a try.

Three trailers have been loaded, bringing the total this year, including transports via St. Caritas, to 26 this year. We can safely say that the quality of the relief supplies was above average, food was an important part of it.

More and more products are becoming available from the farm in Marghita and are being used for food aid. In addition to Romania, for example, a trailer was loaded again in the past week with destination Ukraine. It is of course great that this can be made possible. The people there are very happy with it and our contacts are busy with the distribution.

It is already harvest time on the farm, Attila and his team are busy. Attila, Ference and Renata also had to invest a lot of time in a refresher course including an exam for their spraying license.

On Thursday, June 20, another truck came to unload in Marghita, which we had loaded in Broek op Langedijk. Very nice stuff to distribute, including from the PLMA.

The same Thursday, Mr. Bredderman came to load, just like last time he had unloaded aid supplies from Germany at his project in Ukraine. With the empty trailer he then went to Marghita to load on the farm for the same project in Ukraine. We expect a report on it.

Reghina from Ticau has also been given the opportunity to distribute goods again, something she gratefully takes advantage of. This will not eliminate hunger from the world, but it will eliminate hunger from Ticau.

As is known, Csaba and Imola receive many goods to distribute. The distribution area is large and it ends up well. In addition to the goods from Broek op Langedijk, the bread is baked from flour from the farm and vegetables and potatoes also from the farm.

On Thursday, June 20, a truck from Broek op Langedijk also came to unload there with very valuable items. The distribution of this will also be handled quickly. It is actually just a bit too warm in Romania.

A few weeks ago they went out with a number of elderly people from Breaza. Csaba with a bus full and Imola with a car full. They had a lot of fun, this is important for everyone, but it is extra important for elderly people who are often alone.

Marin and Eniko from Band are also continuing their work, the meal project is and remains important. From the photos it seems as if it is a bit quieter and the children immediately receive a portion of education. Nice to see, the renovation of houses also continues.

The same goes for Viorel and Elena from Deaj. With small steps things are getting better there, it's a matter of patience. Of course, it has helped the people involved tremendously.

Henk Muller goes on and on, he has a very extensive network there and I think he would love to help them all. He does what is within his capabilities and suits him.

Joszi from Tirgu Mures also sent a series of photos.

For now I'll leave it at this. Our stock has shrunk considerably, next week we will skip loading a truck. There are other activities on Wednesday.
