Weekly update 21/22

This morning I started with a summary of the misery that Vladimir Putin has caused, I stopped it, it's just too much. It is better to focus on how we can help these people in need within the possibilities of the Promotion Foundation. Together with our people in Romania we do what we can.

It's a bit of a repetition of what I wrote in previous episodes, but much of our help to Ukraine is through Cristi and his team from Botosani. If you read how many people are being helped with help. The people who come and take it to the refugee camps, among other things, also deserve our respect.

Attila from the farm in Marghita has again had a truck with 19 tons of potatoes and 4 tons of onions brought to St. HRIF's project in Hamelmeu near Satu Mare. The organization of these transports is a challenge for the people on site.

Attila also beautiful a series of photos of the spring work on the farm, again beautiful pictures. It is good to improve the weather conditions and how to treat crops.

It is now also the time for strawberries on the farm, sales are moving forward for years. This year there is a record harvest, but demand has contracted sharply due to the marked decline in purchasing power of many people. Letting them rot was not a good idea either, now they have ended up with people through our network where strawberries will not often be on the table.

Reghina from Ticau was also very happy that she could hand out strawberries again, including strawberries.

In Breaza there was a party, Denisa has reached the finish of the High school, there
were good reasons to celebrate this of course. There were plenty of strawberries, little Imre wanted to keep them and not divide them into jam, they were so delicious.

The truck we loaded on Wednesday with destination Breaza was unloaded there on Saturday morning. The part destined for Ploiesti was transported further with a truck from Agro sprint. Loading went smoothly again, as did the pick-up jobs.

Henk Muller has since moved to a rented house in Band. As always he continues to do things and he goes. Refurbishing the houses is planned I think. Now they are going to build another three houses from sandwich panels. A group from Zeeland supports this project. Between the photo is a lot of text from Henk. Good for the people out there that he does all this.

Next Wednesday it must then happen to “empty” the food fair in the RAI. The organization is almost complete. We go again on Thursday and Friday. There's something else in the pipeline, we'll just have to wait and see.

A refrigerated trailer has been ordered for next Friday that will bring part of the RAI stock to Botosani.

We trust it will all work out but it is a bit exciting.
