Weekly update 51/25 Engels

There was little activity in our warehouse in Broek op Langedijk last week. On Tuesday, December 23rd, I did a quick pickup job in Amsterdam, which also provided a good opportunity to catch up with customers. Fortunately, we received more great offers, which we'll be accepting next week.

Last Tuesday, the trailer we loaded the week before was unloaded at the farm in Marghita, Romania.

Around Christmas, it's customary for everyone to have at least two weeks of vacation. Many people who work abroad visit family during this time. Christmas celebrations in Romania haven't always been as commonplace as they are here. During the Communist Party's time in power, this was minimized as much as possible.

Imola has posted a message on her blog with photos and stories about the Christmas packages.

Csaba and Imola have delivered some of Yarrah's dog food from Harderwijk to the shelter in Rhegin. The rest of the food will be sent there in January. Running a shelter like this isn't easy; they are incredibly grateful for our years of support.

Joszi from Tirgu Mures, in addition to his regular program, was also able to have firewood distributed this time. It was very popular.

Next Wednesday, there will be no joint activities in our warehouse in Broek op Langedijk. Interesting goods are arriving, however. We can continue as usual next year. The kind of assistance we all provide is unfortunately still very necessary and useful.

Thank you to everyone who helped.

From here, I wish you a happy New Year's Eve and a prosperous new year.

We hope to welcome many visitors to our New Year's reception on January 9th. We will look back on the past year and look forward to the next. This will take place in the beautiful atmosphere of the fire station. Where our catering department, led by Hesva, will do everything possible to make everyone feel welcome.
