Weekly update 49/25 Engels
We've had a relatively quiet week. Our warehouse isn't overcrowded, but certainly not empty yet.
Of the three trucks we loaded a week earlier, the one with the three addresses has been unloaded. The other two were largely transported by train and have been delayed. The first one will arrive in Breaza next Monday.
Imola has posted a message on her blog. Csaba and Imola see many people in and around trouble up close and know better than anyone that help is needed. You can let go of all sorts of thoughts about the how and why, but the best thing is simply to do something together. In the blog post below, Imola reiterates the importance of our assistance.

Monday, December 1st, was a national holiday. This day celebrates the unification (1918) of Transylvania and the Kingdom of Romania. Romania has a rich history. If you don't remember it all from history lessons at school, Wikipedia is a handy tool to refresh your memory.

On Wednesday, December 3rd, we loaded a trailer that was going to the depot in Breaza. It turned out to be a nice, varied load, with lots of food and clothing. Some items were also delivered for Phoneo from Reghin, which they were able to take along as well. We've been supporting the dog shelter near Reghin for many years by bringing food for these dogs. This food comes from various sources, with Yarrah from Harderwijk playing a significant role. This time, their service went so far as to deliver it.
Loading was a challenging task due to the composition of the load. The driver was interested in our work and helped out. After lunch, he was able to head to Venlo, where the trailer was loaded onto the train for the trip to the station in Oradea. The collections also went well; three teams were on the road, meaning we can load another trailer for Romania next week.

We can also share with St. Charitas for their projects in Ukraine. St. Charitas's transport costs to Ukraine are rising rapidly, and the border wait times of up to seven days are also a factor.
On Wednesday, December 3rd and Thursday, December 4th, the trailer we loaded on Wednesday, November 26th, was unloaded at three destinations. The photo album below gives a good impression of how this went. In Botosani, Cristi and Alina were delighted with it; you can read what he wrote about it in the photo album. This year, we're receiving more requests and expressions of gratitude than usual.

Toth Attila from Peris sent photos with a short explanation that makes it clear that our role is also important.

Marin and Eniko from Band have completed their weekly program again. As I've written before, it's wonderful and useful work.

Viorel and Elena, just like almost every week, have been working hard and offering help to people in need. The first Christmas packages have also been distributed; unfortunately, there's no photo of them opening a package.
At the bottom of the photo album is a new request to help finish a small house under construction for a family of eight children. The roof, for example, is still missing. An elderly woman with no income who lives out of trash bins also needs help. Viorel also distributed Christmas packages in Deaj and Ceuaș. "Beautiful" pictures of happy people were taken.

This week, Henk Muller sent another series of photos with an explanation of his activities.

Joszi from Tirgu Mures is deviating from his weekly routine and hasn't been able to send a photo report yet. A double installment will follow next week.
Next Wednesday we will load another trailer with destination Breaza.
