This worked out well, on Friday the truck was in Marghita and on Saturday it arrived to unload in Breaza. Here is the link to photos. In Marghita, the wheat harvest has been completed, 1,250,000 kilos of excellent quality wheat in storage. Average per ha 7.6 tons very good, far above the average in Romania. The temperature was sometimes around 40 °C during the harvest, not pleasant to work in. Unfortunately, wheat prices are low due to the war in neighboring Ukraine. Here is the link to photos. There are all kinds of summer activities in Getz. Here is the link to photos. Henk Muller sent a video of the funeral I wrote about last time. Last Wednesday we were able to load another truck. Unfortunately, due to the holidays or other causes, less food is available. This time again a nice usable load. First to Marghita and then to Ticau. A batch of potatoes could be loaded on the farm in Marghita for Reghina. Here is the link to photos. In the Ukraine the situation is unbearable for many people, through Cristi and Igor we help as much as we can. Never imagined that we would ever be involved in this form of aid. Wars are always somewhere but never, in my life, as close as now. The truck that was loaded on Wednesday was already unloaded in Marghita on Friday morning. Around noon it was also empty in Ticau. Here the link to pictures of Reghina. Henk Muller sent a tragic message about a poor man from Band who was temporarily working in Austria. To cool off he went into a river and drowned. A very poor family is left behind, we were able to contribute something to the costs of the funeral. Here is the link to photos. Toth Attil...

All in all, there has been a lot of rescheduling in the past week. There is a truck loaded with destination Botosani and a second with destination Breaza. We were unable to load a truck last week, mainly due to the lack of food in our range. However, we have not been idle, the storage has been put in order and thanks to various organizations in our network we can load two trucks with a nice meaningful load in the coming week. The harvest of various crops has started well on the farm. A good yield in kilos unfortunately the market is still upset and prices are low. The first potatoes have been lifted, they are still vulnerable and therefore picked up manually and put in bags. Later it goes with the harvester, they look good and also a good yield in kilos. Here is the link to photos. Thanks to sponsors, a truckload was able to go to Cristi in Botosani. From this depot a large part went into Ukraine. Such transports are not without danger, between the photos there is a film with an injured driver, who has been hit by shrapnel. This happened near Kherson not far from the front. It is to despair all this completely senseless violence. Here is...

It is relatively quiet in Broek op Langedijk. The flow of incoming and outgoing relief supplies is smaller than we have become accustomed to. Last Tuesday we were able to put together a nice well-mixed load and send it to Breaza. Unfortunately, the supply of food is now almost exhausted. Loading went with a small group without any problems. On Wednesday there were pick-up jobs and we were able to repack clothes and clean up the storage. Here is the link to photos. The trailer was unloaded in Breaza on Friday morning. Reghina from Ticau keeps on handing out food to people in need. Here is the link to photos. Cristi from Botosani also sent pictures, this time of the distribution in villages around Botosani. Here is the link to photos. Henk Muller will return home next Tuesday after his stay in a clinic. We hope, of course, that he will make a full recovery. There were pictures of the construction of a house and the distribution of goods. Here is the link to photos. Viorel and Elena from ...

The wonderful motorcycle holiday is over. For motorcycling enthusiasts, here's the link to a few photos. Making a report of all activities that have continued as usual is therefore possible again. A lot of sorting work has been done in the storage on Dulleweg. Just like pick-up jobs from various locations. So we have a large stock again, unfortunately not much food yet. Cristi from Botosani has been busy distributing his stock. A lot has gone to Ukraine. Unbelievable what is happening there and how much suffering this causes. Due to strict border controls, Igor was able to pick up less from Botosani than intended. Here is the link to photos. Reghina From Ticau has been distributing food again. She also helped the doctor during consultation hours in the district building, near the gypsy district. Photos of a picnic organized by her are also nice to see. Here is the link to photos. Viorel and Elena also sent a nice photo report. It's great that stuff brought by us also ends up he...

A lot has happened in the past week. The refrigerated truck that we loaded on Friday 2 June was unloaded in Breaza on Monday 5 June. Imola and Csaba's contacts immediately came to pick it up. A number of them immediately sent an enthusiastic message of thanks with beautiful images. Below is the link for a total overview of Imola. Here is the link to photos. A thank you letter On Wednesday we loaded two trucks with non-perishable products from the PLMA, other food and some clothing. Two great loads, Friday the first was unloaded at the farm in Marghita. There it is loaded with potatoes and vegetables. On Saturday this was unloaded at Reghina in Ticau. The second truck was unloaded in Botosani on Saturday. Cristi reacted enthusiastically. Part of the cargo goes into the Ukraine via Igor, I don't know yet if part of it goes to Kherson. Help there is urgently needed after the criminal destruction of the dam, resulting in a flood disaster. Unbelievable how much additional suffering ...
