Weekly update 24 en 25/23
The wonderful motorcycle holiday is over.
For motorcycling enthusiasts, here's the link to a few photos.
Making a report of all activities that have continued as usual is therefore possible again.
A lot of sorting work has been done in the storage on Dulleweg. Just like pick-up jobs from various locations. So we have a large stock again, unfortunately not much food yet.
Cristi from Botosani has been busy distributing his stock. A lot has gone to Ukraine. Unbelievable what is happening there and how much suffering this causes. Due to strict border controls, Igor was able to pick up less from Botosani than intended.
Reghina From Ticau has been distributing food again. She also helped the doctor during consultation hours in the district building, near the gypsy district. Photos of a picnic organized by her are also nice to see.
Viorel and Elena also sent a nice photo report. It's great that stuff brought by us also ends up here and that Viorel and Elena handle it like this.
As I wrote before, the sharply reduced purchasing power makes it difficult for Attila to sell its products for the right price. Selling strawberries is very difficult, throwing them away is not an option, so children's homes, care institutions and poor people now get more of them.
Imola from Breaza sent a series of photos of the distribution of the relief supplies. This includes the vegetables, potatoes and strawberries from the farm that were brought there.
Henk Muller sent photos of vegetable gardens, the Spunta seed potatoes from the Wieringermeer and the seeds of Taki growing well. More people should do this. Henk also sent a photo of a family that now lives under a tarpaulin roof. Henk and Marin would like to build a house for them.
Next Wednesday we will load a truck that will go to the depot in Breaza.
