Weekly update 26/23

It is relatively quiet in Broek op Langedijk. The flow of incoming and outgoing relief supplies is smaller than we have become accustomed to. Last Tuesday we were able to put together a nice well-mixed load and send it to Breaza. Unfortunately, the supply of food is now almost exhausted. Loading went with a small group without any problems. On Wednesday there were pick-up jobs and we were able to repack clothes and clean up the storage.

The trailer was unloaded in Breaza on Friday morning.

Reghina from Ticau keeps on handing out food to people in need.

Cristi from Botosani also sent pictures, this time of the distribution in villages around Botosani.

Henk Muller will return home next Tuesday after his stay in a clinic. We hope, of course, that he will make a full recovery. There were pictures of the construction of a house and the distribution of goods.

Viorel and Elena from Deaj also continue their work every week with their help to the people in their area. Flour from the farm in Marghita has become available to them, and 400 loaves of bread have been baked.

Ronald Wolthuis of St. Phoneo regularly sends messages about their activities in Ukraine. This close to the front and in the flooded areas, good that they help there. It is very terrible what the people have to go through there, thanks to the President of Russia.

You can read more about this on their website.

Next Wednesday we will pick up stuff. More information about loading a car will follow, we hope that some food will be released.
