Săptămâna trecută a fost dedicată unui transport în Ucraina. Acest lucru se face în colaborare cu fundația Caritas Ucraina-Olanda din De Rijp. Avem un parteneriat de lungă durată cu această fundație, condusă de Jan Pilkes. La fel este și cazul Sf. Manna din Alkmaar, sub conducerea lui Jac Smit. Fundația Manna se angajează să prevină risipa alimentară. Dacă cererea și oferta nu sunt echilibrate, horticultorii și fermierii arabili vor avea surplusuri sau penurii. The past week was all about a transport to Ukraine. This in collaboration with the Caritas Ukraine-Holland foundation from De Rijp. Tot săptămâna trecută, o cantitate imensă de ajutoare, inclusiv multe alimente, a fost trimisă în România. În ceea ce privește aprovizionarea, avem vântul în panglici și sunt o mulțime de oameni care au nevoie de ajutor. Also last week, a huge amount of relief supplies, including a lot of food, was sent to Romania. As far as supply is concerned, we have the wind in our sails and there are enough "clients". On Tuesday 13 September, Nico and I first loaded almost 18 tons of first-class seed potatoes at Gebr. Beetsma in Wieringermeer. Here is the link to photos. Then we picked up another batch of consumption potatoes at St. Manna. After unloading this trailer, a batch of cookies was ready for us at Aviateur, specially selected for Eastern Europe. Faptul că o iei ușor nu a ajutat prea mult. Când știi cât de mare este nevoia în România și Ucraina și se oferă bunuri valoroase, e greu să spui nu. Rezultatul este că este nevoie de un efort suplimentar, din fericire și acest lucru a avut succes săptămâna trecută. Siem și Nico au fost ocupați cu o ridicare de colete marți, 6 mai. Miercuri, 7 mai, am reușit să încărcăm o remorcă cu destinația Breaza. Un alt lot de cartofi a intrat aici, precum și alimente, biscuiți și niște haine. A devenit o încărcătură frumoasă și valoroasă. Taking it easy didn't amount to much. When you know how great the need is in Romania and Ukraine and valuable goods are offered, it is difficult to say no. The result is that extra effort is needed, fortunately that was also very successful last week. Siem and Nico were busy with a collection job on Tuesday 6 May. On Wednesday 7 May we were able to load a trailer with destination Breaza. Another batch of potatoes went in here and the rest of the groceries, biscuits and some clothing. It has become a nice valuable load. In the meantime, three collection teams were on their way and there was a lot of stacking work. Everything went well again and our stock was not yet exhausted. A fost o plimbare fantastică cu motocicleta în regiunea Rin-Mosel. Nu îți oferă odihnă, dar îți oferă o „senzație bună”. Linkul către aceste fotografii este exclusiv pentru motocicliști. It was a fantastic motorcycle ride in the Rhine-Mosel region. You don't rest from it but you do get a "good feeling" from it. The link to these photos is exclusively for motorcyclists. Then we continued with fresh courage to organize the aid transports. On Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. there was a trailer in front of the door that we could load with destination Breaza.
