Weekly update 33/24 Engels
Holiday season or not, the incoming and outgoing flow of goods in our warehouse in Broek op Langedijk continues as usual. We are happy that we can do this thanks to sponsors, volunteers and sympathisers. It is no news that the prosperity and well-being of people is poorly distributed among the inhabitants of our planet. It is only nice that we can help a little bit with the transfer of our prosperity to people who are less fortunate.
Last Wednesday Jorg Bredderman came to load with us. He has been delivering aid supplies to Ukraine and Moldova for years. The intention is to bring this cargo to a camp with refugees from Ukraine in Moldova. In Moldova, border controls are stricter than in Ukraine, he was still hesitating a bit about what he would do. It is certain that this very nice, usable cargo will end up in the right place.

I previously wrote about loading potatoes and vegetables from the farm in Marghita. Jorg shared a number of photos of the distribution of them in Ukraine. The images speak for themselves. People are longing for an end to the senseless war violence and a bit of a normal life.

The trailer that we loaded in Broek op Langedijk on Wednesday 8 August was unloaded in Breaza on Friday 16 August. Csaba and Imola are on holiday for 10 days, the permanent unloading team has arranged everything well. No photos this time.
Reghina from Ticau has items from the farm and has also been able to buy food thanks to St. Emeth. Bible lessons were given and generously distributed, the people around her will be happy with her.
Henk Muller is back home in Romania and busy with all kinds of activities. Csaba from Breaza brought a batch of food during his absence, which was distributed.
Toth Attila from Peris shared photos of a summer camp and a baptism service, nice to see.

Viorel and Elena also continue to do good work, feeding children is the least that should be done. Especially growing children eat a lot, if I myself ate as much as our 15 year old grandson I would weigh more than 100 kg in no time.

Marin and Eniko from Band, have also worked hard again, the house with water damage from a source is almost finished. A great improvement for these people. Making food has also been successful, I think.
How the meal provision in Tirgu Mures goes with Joszi remains special, but it works. With help from the government it could all be much better, but it still gives a glimmer of hope for a better future.

Next Wednesday we will load a trailer for Breaza. Jan Pilkes from Caritas in De Rijp will come to pick up part of our stock for his next transport to Ukraine.
