Weekly update 15/24

The distribution of the packages is already going well and more and more photos are coming in. People are very happy with it again.

On Wednesday April 10 we loaded a trailer with destination Breaza. We were able to put together a nice mixed and valuable load of food, cookies, clothing, furniture and medical items. Food is especially important, not everyone can just walk to the store to do some shopping. The truck was on time and loading was not smooth, again there were enough people to help. The collection jobs also went smoothly, only Haye and Clement took longer on the road. The trailer goes on a train in Germany and goes to Arad. From there this trailer goes to Breaza with another tractor in front of it. The arrival date is not yet known.

On Friday, April 5, we loaded two trucks. The first came unloading on Monday April 8 at the farm in Marghita. A few pallets of potatoes could be loaded there for Reghina from Ticau, the second unloading address of this truck.

Attila sent some photos of the unloading. Also from the spring work on the farm. The early potatoes are already above the ground, the rapeseed fields are blooming beautifully. Nice to see everyone.

Reghina from Ticau sent photos of the unloading and her other activities.

On Tuesday, the driver of this truck unloaded the last packages in Botosani. Cristi didn't wait long to drop off the packages and was busy again last week. He works long hours and is open to new things, he has a lot to deal with. The people in the villages around Botosani were happy with his visit.

Truck number two came to unload in Breaza and Reghin on Tuesday April 9, which went smoothly all without any problems. Csaba immediately started further distribution.

Henk Muller also undertook all kinds of activities, see the photo album below with explanation.

Marin and Hennie from Band have had a busy week. Marin was the pastor at a baptism ceremony. Meal provision on Mondays and Fridays, building a house and renovating another. Someone has died, saying goodbye is different than ours. The album below contains a video with the performance of a singer hired for this purpose. The packages were also happily received here.

Viorel and Elena did not sit idle either, a lot of bread was baked, food was made and distributed. Handing out the packages was a joy, they ended up well.

On Wednesday April 17 we will load a truck with destination Marghita. There is still a lack of food for a varied load, I hope that will change.
