Weekly update 31/32

On Wednesday, August 3, a truck with a trailer was loaded with destination Botosani. We were able to gather some food from a number of sources and thus make a nice mix of usable relief goods.

It is currently very warm in a large part of Romania, with temperatures above 40 °C. Fortunately, next week the temperature will drop to normal summer values.

Cristi sent a message that the truck will be unloaded on Monday morning. He is in Romania.

Viorel and Elena from Deja sent their weekly message again. Because of this weekly message, the ins and outs in such a gypsy community are starting to get used to, it seems. Yet it also remains unreal that so many people and young children live like this.

Henk Muller is still not on his strength and unfortunately cannot do what he wants. Fortunately, the people around him take good care of him. Marin the local pastor and jack of all trades now does most of the work. The accompanying photos with explanation speak for themselves.

Another request came to help with the financing of a house, luckily we were able to say yes to this thanks to our sponsors. Marin immediately started construction.

Pictures came from Breaza of goods being collected and distributed by their contacts there.

Next Wednesday we will not load. I myself went to Romania for a few days to visit a few projects. First to the farm in Marghita and then from Breaza to a number of people that this blog often talks about.
