Weekly update 22/23
Monday was a party in Botosani. The truck with PLMA goods has been unloaded. The unloading team went from one surprise to another when they saw the products.
Cristi was able to save quite a bit for the kitchen of Casa Ioana. The operation of the children's home is expensive, almost all of them are teenagers who live there and they like something. The same afternoon Igor and a few other people came with vans from Ukraine, they were able to take about half of the load. The rest went to people in Romania who need support. To reach these people, Cristi has a network with pastors in particular who can organize this well and quickly. Here is the unloading link
Below are the photos taken by Igor, mostly of people at the soup kitchen in Chernivtsi.
On Wednesday there were a lot of clean-up jobs, we couldn't load a trailer. A refrigerated trailer came to load on Friday. All goods that need refrigeration are now gone. The truck will be unloaded in Breaza on Monday. Fortunately there was help enough to arrange this again, thanks for this.
Henk Muller sent some photos from Band. In the clinic they are investigating which medicines help best. The results are variable.
Reghina from Ticau has been handing out again and sending pictures of it.
Ilja van Phoneo from Reghin sent a video of their school project. Nice to see this going so well.
Elena and Viorel from Deaj visited a TV station from Bucharest to make a report about their work. It would be nice if it inspires others to look after each other.Wednesday we have pick-up jobs and there is still some things to clean up. A Romanian truck comes to load with destination Botosani. A second truck will arrive on Thursday and it will go to Marghita and then to Reghina in Ticau.
