Weekly update 8/23

On Tuesday, February 21, we were able to collect more than 3.000 kg of seed potatoes from farmers in the Wieringermeer, a nice gesture from these kind people. Henk Muller from Band can enjoy his garden projects again. There is also plenty for the gardens in and around Breaza.

On Wednesday we were able to load them immediately, together with hospital beds, apples, some cake and other food. Another nice load that arrived in Breaza on Friday evening and was unloaded on Saturday morning. Wednesday was busy with repacking work and loading and collecting, it all ended up on its feet again.

Cristi from Botosani has had a visit from Igor from Ukraine and brought two vans full of very usable food for the soup kitchen in Chernivtsi. Igor was gloomy about the course of the war, the number of victims is rising rapidly and the outcome is uncertain. Many people are running out of steam, food aid is decreasing and the problems are increasing. He is very happy with our help, which is becoming increasingly important. Between the photos is a video recorded at the soup kitchen of Igor and a high parliamentarian from Kyiv they thank Cristi and us for the help.

Thanks to sponsors, we have managed to raise the necessary resources for this. Below is a series of photos of Józsi and his team of this great help to children in this neighborhood.
