Weekly update 49/22

Rob said that a lot of work was done last Wednesday. There were more collection jobs than planned. A busy day, therefore, also with the repacking of products. Good to see that there is a nice stock to be able to load the last two loads of relief supplies in 2022. Monday December 12th a truck will load for Breaza and Tuesday December 13th the next one will arrive with destination Botosani.

Reghina from Ticau shared photos of the distribution of the packages. People like Reghina are a kind of lifeline for many in the current circumstances.

Cristi from Botosani is hard at work again on all fronts with aid. Contact with Igor has started again. Thanks to a sponsor from our foundation, Igor can buy two pigs for slaughter. They are smoked to go to the soldiers at the front. How bad do you want it, instead of celebrating Christmas with your family, for example sitting somewhere in a trench or a tank to defeat the enemy or kill other people.

The Christmas packages are distributed in and around Botosani. The gratitude is great, it's not hard to guess why. The person who arranges the transports for us has a friend in Belgium who bought a pig that has now been slaughtered in a village near Botosani. In Casa Ioana, the meat gradually comes to the table.

Toth Attila from Peris has also been busy handing out packages and showing pictures of his after-school care. This kind of activity makes all the difference. Sinterklaas also visited the children's home there, too fat to be the real one.

In Getz, by the way, he was also, very similar to the Santa, but it's Sinterklaas. You would be there hardly believe it anymore.

Imola from Breaza has updated her blog and added some photos in an album from the last transport.

Henk Muller is back in Romania, he has done all kinds of things again. He now spends a few days with the Weiss family, who live far from civilization. Very special, nice to see and read in the album below.

Viorel and Eleana from Deaj also continue their school. Not to forget the provision of meals to people in their area and in the center for homeless people in Tirgu Mures. Christmas packages are also distributed in Deaj and in the village near Haranglab. The album below also contains the request for help to replace a number of impossible huts in Haranglab for something better.

So on Monday December 12th we will load a truck in Broek op Langedijk for Breaza and Tuesday December 13th for Botosani. Wednesdays are also chores.
