Weekly update 32/22
It doesn't look like the war in Ukraine will be over anytime soon. Every day there are victims and it causes untold suffering. Yesterday I read a newspaper article about aid to refugees there, It makes clear how necessary and useful it is to keep sending relief supplies.

Wednesday we were able to put together a nice load with useful relief supplies. Three quarters of the trailer goes to Cristi in Botosani and from there partly into the Ukraine. A quarter of the trailer was unloaded last Friday afternoon at Reghina in Ticau.
The loading went well, the driver who secured everything with straps and anti-slip mats. With a cargo that is square full, this is not a requirement, he probably had to deal with the German BAG or other law enforcement before. The pick-up jobs also went smoothly, everyone could go home on time.
Here are the pictures of loading and unloading in Ticau.
In Breaza they are busy with the distribution of the goods we have brought, photos of it seem a bit inaccurate. Imola wrote that she was getting more and more requests for help.
Henk Muller's radius of action is still limited, but he did send a nice photo report of the distribution of goods by his partner in relief work to people in the village of Band, Marin. Just like beautiful photos of the vegetable and potato cultivation, it looks very good, despite the drought and heat that plagues the country.
School has started again at Viorel in Deja, including the meal provision. An importantproject for these children, it's great that we can help them with this.

Attila from the farm said he can no longer use the water from the lake, the level is too low, unbelievably unprecedented. Crops are withering all over the country. Temperatures are expected to be well above 30°C in the coming week and rain is far away.
Toth Attila has organized a summer camp.
Next Wednesday we will load another trailer with destination Breaza. We still have good usable goods and St. Manna is going to help us.
The BBQ at Jaap en Geeske was again a success, just relaxed and fun, the care was top. Thanks again for organizing Jaap and Geeske, it was a nice job with this warm weather. Just like for the cook Gerrit and assistant Piet. Tent builder Kees also thanked, so we could sit in the shade.
