Weekly update 32/21

Wednesday, August 4, we cleaned up quite a bit in our storage at the Dulleweg in Broek op Langedijk. There were still a few pick-up jobs and a little more time than usual to catch up.

Friday, August 6, we were able to pick up a trailer full of beautiful useful items in Weesp at the HIRF Foundation. The Veenstra family always has many activities. For example, four containers with relief goods for Suriname have now been loaded there, the first of which are already at their destination. Many people live in poverty in Suriname and, for example, in hospitals there is a lack of almost everything. There are also contacts with an organization in Lebanon. Here too many people have been oppressed in a terrible way. Just a few examples of relief actions from Weesp.

From Reghina from Ticau we received another series of photos of heartwarming actions, she seems unstoppable.

Toth Attila from Pers sent some photos of his pig project, the fence is now ready and the pigs
have more space. Piglets have also been born, which is nice to see.

Henk Muller sent some photos of the potato cultivation, which turned out well with Spunta seed potatoes from Holland.

Next Thursday, August 12, we will load two trucks. Our warehouse is overflowing with useful items. One truckload goes to Deaj and the other goes to Breaza.

It is usual that we load on Wednesdays, due to the mandatory corona test for Romanian drivers, the planning has become more difficult, so it has become a day later. Wednesday we will probably get things ready and there are a few pick-up jobs.

Temperatures in Romania are still around 30°C with peaks rising, slightly lower temperatures and rain would be welcome.
