Weekly update 15/21

On Tuesday, April 6, we were able to pick up hospital beds again at care center Zuyder Waert. It is starting to become routine, 20 will be ready again next Tuesday from 11 am.

Wednesday, April 7, a Romanian truck was loaded with destination Marghita, 50% unloaded at the farm, potatoes were loaded and unloaded at Marien Kroon in Floresti. Attila sent a few photos, he said that it is still freezing at night which is not good for the start of the growing season. Fortunately, according to weather online forecasts, things are looking a lot better for the coming period. In the near future, more potatoes will be sent from the farm to poor people through our contacts.

Thursday afternoon, April 8, 50 bedside tables, a kidney dialysis machine and other medical items were collected from the Red Cross hospital in Beverwijk. All useful articles for healthcare in Romania, it was quite a job.

Friday, April 9, another nice batch of food arrived through the Manna Foundation. This can nicely serve as a supplement to the thousands of food packages made by our contacts in Romania. Making and distributing it is quite a job, but it also brings a lot of joy.

Reghina from Ticau again sent pictures.

This while his wife and their disabled son are in intensive care, also infected with covid. The family staffed a relief station in Deda.
